During my three-month internship at TikTok in Munich, I worked in the TikTok Shop team, supporting digital marketing campaigns through creator coordination and content optimization. The experience offered a hands-on understanding of how world-class social media marketing operates at scale.
As a Creator Manager Intern, I collaborated with a diverse set of content creators to ensure campaigns were executed effectively, aligning with brand objectives and platform dynamics. I contributed to both organic and paid content strategies, focusing on short-form video production, messaging consistency, and audience engagement.
Analyzing key performance indicators such as GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) and CTR (Click-Through Rate) allowed me to monitor campaign effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and propose optimizations. This analytical approach reinforced how strategic decisions in content planning directly influence measurable results in a fast-moving digital environment.
Beyond the technical skills, the internship was a deeply rewarding personal experience. Living and working in Munich offered cultural enrichment, and being part of a globally recognized business provided a front-row seat to high-performance operations and innovative marketing practices.
