🇨🇳 Shanghai Imagine Toastmasters - Shanghai

During my time in Shanghai, I actively participated in the Toastmasters International community through the Shanghai Imagine Toastmasters Club, where I later served as Club President.

As a member, I regularly delivered speeches, refined persuasive communication skills, and learned to structure ideas clearly for diverse audiences. Public speaking in an international environment strengthened my confidence, sharpened my message delivery, and improved my ability to think under pressure.

Serving as President added a new dimension of responsibility. I organized club meetings and special events, coordinated with members, and managed the club’s social media presence to increase engagement and visibility. Leading the club required balancing structure with creativity - ensuring consistent operations while fostering an encouraging and growth-oriented atmosphere.

The experience reinforced several key skills: strategic communication, leadership under accountability, and audience-centered messaging. Most importantly, it deepened my understanding that influence is not about speaking louder - it’s about speaking with clarity, purpose, and relevance.
